I've seen delete issues in relation to linux and usb files, but not this:
Delete (either with key or context menu delete) will delete some files in a folder, but above a certain number (or total file size?) it looks like they're deleted but if you return to the folder they have not been. screen cap here:

Deleting the containing folder also fails (so its probably a size, not a number of files issue?)
This is a major bummer as I've just started using xn view as my perfect tool for assessing which video files to keep. Fortunately, I found this bug before spending any more than an hour or so that I'll have to re-do.
Edit: turning off "use recycle bin" helped, but there was one file that would not delete. I tried to delete it from explorer and it said it was open in xnview. I tried deleting the whole folder in xn view and it let me, except it hadn't deleted it, it was still there in explorer. F5 made it re-appear in the folder tree in xnview
