JPEG XL format my like , but this format very load CPU on older notebooks , please add therad limiter in settings this format , I mean what user select quentity threads for encoding and decoding , as this do in converter mode in settings Use Multiple CPU Cores )

On Windows 10/11 systems you can use the taskmanager and set the used threads for xnviewmp.
This is a great workaround, if you need some cpu cores for other operations.

The command line encoder and decoder of JPEG XL has an option to specify the utilzed number of cpu threads. I don*t know if the library offers that option too.
