How to change the background color in Preview Pane MAC?

Trying to configure this software.... See screen shot below.

I want to get rid of the "Blue Background" in the Preview Pane....

MAC Desktop
XnView 1.11.5

Welcome to the forums…

It looks like you turned on “Show clipping”. Press J to turn it off.

Maybe a warning dialog when you first turned it on would have helped you.

Also, it's a good idea to look at the forums or search before posting. Many questions are already answered. Someone just asked this same question just a few posts below yours.

Hello, thanks for your idea but it did nothing to get rid of the blue background.

Remember, this is a MAC desktop running Mojave 10.14.6

Any other ideas?

Perhaps you changed the shortcut key. Tools->Settings:Interface:Shortcuts:Browser->cmd_showClipping

You're not seeing a "background" on the preview panel, those are the black pixels in your image that are being colored blue by the "show clipping" function.

Close the app, delete your xnview.ini file, restart the app, and that will reset your settings to defaults.
