Missing checkbox on thumbnails to distinguish checked from selected files

Hello,

I just reinstalled my computer and I am now using XnView V 2.48. It look like the checkbox that was on the image thumbnails, that allowed a dictinction between selected and checked files, is not here anymore. I miss it a lot since thanks to it I can easily preserve a set of images before a ...

Yes, it should... But I tried once again to be sure and it does not. I really get a file called "mo.jpg"

So a bug

Hi Pierre,

I would like to know if this bug has been fixed.
How can I see a complete list of the changes for all the latest versions of XnView?

Thx a lot,

Regards,

Re: Useful behaviors while in fullscreen mode

Can someone support these suggestions?

I think they would be really improve the flexibility and the efficiency of the fullscreen experience.
Beside it would be loved by artists who crawl into many reference images - not only me 8)

And last but not least, quite easy to implement ;)

Thx a lot!!

Re: Crop improvments: Rotation and Keep Area Ratio

Some of us keep the originals sequestered in a "safe" folder and save our modifications elsewhere...

Hum, well, so for my second suggestion, about the default folder when files have not been saved yet, maybe it should also be an option in the General -> File Operations panel, unchecked by default ...

Re: Crop improvments: Rotation and Keep Area Ratio

Try Options->General->File Operations
It's the fourth option down, "For 'Save As'...."

Wouah, cool :D You're the man!! ;)
Exactly that, for the modified files. Why isn't this checked by default? Maybe that should be my new suggestion ;)

I still would like the default folder to be the current ...

Re: Crop improvments: Rotation and Keep Area Ratio

Thanks for the support :)

By the way, I would like to suggest a modification to a behavior I found especially frustrating:

Say we opened a picture and did some editing, when we press the Save As tool icon a Save As dialog box opens. The suggested name for the new file is right, but the path is ...

Useful behaviors while in fullscreen mode

Hello again :)

XnView is really a wonderful app to browse images! It is so fast that I often browse big amount of pictures in fullscreen mode.
Doing so, I also often miss a few very basic functionalities, and I am sure many users have also though about them.

Here they are (they are really easy to ...

Crop improvments: Rotation and Keep Area Ratio

Hello,

I've seen some cool improvements suggested for the Crop tool, as a darkening of the outside area for example, but, unless I missed them) nothing about these features:

- It would be really great to be able to rotate the cropping area , as in Photoshop. Indeed there are many cases where you ...

Re: Problem with spaces in output file path in command line

It seems so...

By the way, as my final goal was to grab the content of the clipboard when I encounter this issue, maybe you have a clue for this:

- How to create a file with the clipboard content in command (http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=19546)

Thanks a lot
