If I convert the file from the browser it has the file selected in the source. If I convert the file from the image viewer it does not have the file selected. Can this be changed in the future?

Ok I got this working but I have a question. When I have a picture open and I click on Create multi-page file, it still asks for the source file. Why? Why would I need to select the source when its already open? Is there an option for this?

saving multiple pages

I have an image file that is a fax with file format .dcx. This file contains multiple images in one file. What I want to do is save the image in another file format, ie. tiff. I can't figure out how to do this.

When the image is open within XnView and I click Save As I get a popup stating:

I don't have Daemon-Tools installed on mine.

I noticed another weird thing. When I was trying to debug this using regmon it never crashed. Turned off debugging and it crashes almost everytime. Makes it kinda hard to debug!

I did this the first time you suggested it. I deleted all occurances of xnview.ini but it didn't help.

Downgrading to 1.80.3 fixed the issue for me also. Something in the newest version just doesn't work on my PC.

No, I do not have the xnview.ini or cache directory in Application Data/XnView. I coped the ini file over and created the cache directory but it still crashes constantly.

Yes I removed the xnview.ini file and it didn't help. The program crashes about 8/10 times that I load it.
