Hi,
I always use the stars to rate my Picture, so I can quickly filter the best for further purposes.
But Data-Operations are easier with Windows-Explorer or some File-Commanders, where I set a column with the ratings.
Unfortunately the Ratings in xnview are somehow different. These are not visible ...

I went back to version 1.97.4 (I tried all backward from 1.98.8 ) and now finally everything is working perfectly.
Don´t know what might have changed in xnview, maybe (according to the log) "thumbnail for mpeg file".
I am using klite full 8.6.

i had the same problem. I tried the previous versions and finally version 1.97.4 works for me.
I use k-lite full 8.6.

there are thumbnails for flv in the ms explorer view, but xnview can´t generate thumbs for flv :shock: . So I think the codecs are ok, but xnview seems to have a different usage of them. Maybe klite switched the preference from ffdshow to lav decoder in some of their latest releases and ...

I´m experiencing the same problem with latest no-mp-version. No FLV Thumbs. I thought it should be a codec problem. So I deinstalled xnview, irfanview, klite, ... and cleaned up. Afterwards I installed klite standard and then xnview, but no progress.
Funny though, that there are thumbs in the ...
