I changed useInternalVideoPlayer to "false" (useInternalVideoPlayer=false) and now it does not play videos at all.

Do you have installed codecs like 'Klite codec pack'?


Will you integrate codecs or new video player in XnView MP ?
I think there are few users who have installed Klite codec ...

if you have problem with internal player, you can use windows codecs by settings
useInternalVideoPlayer=false


Where are these settings?

I solved the problem in full screen mode, by do this:

Try this:
Diplay "Categories filter" pane, right-click on "Categories, New category"

Or

Create a text file containing one word by line
In Categories pane, open the drop-down menu, Categoreies management, Import categories file ...
the words of the text file becomes new categories ...

But popup-menu open only when i click at any exist category
How to add category in that case ?

Problem is fixed in "Thumbnails - Labels" - i see the categories
It's awesome! But there is not enough space to display set categories
That's why i have tried to use "Details" view
But... In ...

it works on image file, seems to have a problem with video files...
I don't understand what can be wrong with files if the data keeps correctly (after restarting the program, all categories that i set - load correctly) and output correctly in one fields, but can't output in another
