Sorry, I'm quite lost. I have been told that some of my pics either don't have, or have incorrect (EXIF-) Orientation. Before correcting that, i would love to understand the problem. That's why I'd like to ask: Where to find Info about "(EXIF-) Orientation?

I have File named "windowsxp.icl". As far as I understood, this is supposed to be Archive containing Windows (XP) Icons, which I'm looking for. However, so far I did not manage to extract this File, showing all contained *.ico ...

This is just to confirm, when saving as "JPG", it works as expected ;-)

However, your special kind of sorting Extensions (with very common ones at the top) confused me a lot. How about a Dash like "===" after the Specials ones, to make it more "obvious"!? And/or to indicate the "normal ...

Warum sehe ich bei via USB verbundenem Handy (Galaxy S8) zwar die "Baumansicht" (Tree, Verzeichnis aller Ordner und Unterordner), bei anklicken egal welchen Ordners aber keine Inhalte, also keine Datei. Und zwar ungeachtet der Datei-Art. Also auch keine Medien-/Bilddateien. Warum nicht?

I'm XnViewMP-Newbie. However, Why do I get Entry in "Katalog" (German Version, 0.99.7 - 64bit, on Win 10 Home) e. g. "Verzeichnis: 'W:\Acronis'", indicating there are supposed to be 5 Images --> "Bilder: 5".

In my Opinion, this is wrong. It is correct, that there is a Folder "W:\Acronis ...

Now I know, what caused my Confusion: If I have an Image with Size of 4032 x 1960 and I'm gona make it Half of Size by entering upper Field a Value of "2016", I can see, Value in lower Field ist recalculated to 980, however besides of that nothing else happens. And this is what I did not understand ...

Re Prob 1: By Expression "Grösse ändern" there was meant kind of "shrinking" or "sizing down" the Picture. So, I want to see the same, but just bit smaller. How to do that as it is meant to be done in XnViewMP? I assume, I just do it the wrong way. Other Problem is Language!!! Sorry, but ...
