PSE captions are entered in the Elements software under File, File Info, Description and when saved they appear as captions in XnView. I find it a good feature.

How do I add to captions that are already showing? Here's what I have for one image
Caption 8.5 Red River Aurora Art White CS2; Canon Matte N ICC Profile; 15 Brightness; -6 Contrast. Image 8.752 x 6.565

I have solved the problem. Click on the image; open with; configure programs; and then I configured PSE 2024; closed that area and went to the image, clicked on it and the image opened in pse. Magic.

Situation continues even with new version. Clicking on image will not open it in PSElments 2024. Must go out to Finder and then click on the image before it will open.

Yes, Pierre. That is the path. The only difference is that the extension "app" does not appear but clicking on the icon in Finder does open Elements.

Newest XnView version now also prevents my opening PSElements 2022. Now both Elements 2024 and 2022 do not open from XnView 1.6.4.

I am baffled by this. I cannot find "show package content" at all. I have searched on the context menu and also on About XnView with no results.

Problem continues and now Elements 2022 will not open using XnView. I have to pull the file from Finder to open in any version of Elements. Any ideas what's causing this, Pierre? Thanks.

Good day, Pierre. Yes, the software works to open PSElements 2022, but not PSE 2024, the newest version. XnView does allow me to open in Bridge 2024 and then from Bridge I can open the image in Elements. I much prefer using your program than Bridge
