JPEG settings are rest to 80/Slow/2x1,1x1,1x1 every run.
To test:
1 - Set JPEG settings to 95/Float/1x1,1x1,1x1 and convert an image in batch processing
2 - Open batch processing dialog again and check JPEG settings

B3: Ignore alpha channel does not appear to work
Checked General\Ignore alpha channel in options and opened a 32-bit BMP. Tried to save as JPEG without doing anything else and resulted in a completely white JPEG file.

1.93.4: XnShell does not seem to respect registry settings
I have XnView set to use an .ini file, but when I was poking around to see how to reenable opening XnView with the shell extension instead of MS Paint, I saw that all of the shell extension settings were in HKCU\Software\XnView\ShellEx instead of in another .ini file in the XnView folder.

Converting to 24 bits without alpha would be useful whenever you save a screenshot as bitmap in Media Player Classic, XnView sees it as 32 bit even though the entire alpha channel makes the image transparent.
How would it be implemented anyway? Would it be feasible as a read option under bitmap or ...

1.93.4: Alpha applied during save operations
When saving BMP screenshots saved using Media Player Classic, I end up with completely blank JPEG files. I explicitly saved as 24-bit using CS3 and it image data was actually there again.
I had 'Use alpha channel' unchecked in View, so shouldn't saving files obey this value as well?
