I received a portrait oriented photo from an iPhone4 by email, the dimensions were 478 x 640.
As usual, xnview displays it correctly in portrait orientation while most other applications do not. I gather that this is due to most viewers ignoring orientation via EXIF. So I use xnview's "JPEG lossless ...

In case anyone cannot find the Tools > Compare ,
It isn't available in the Tools menu in the XnView Viewer .
It is initially greyed out in the Tools menu of the Browser .

Edit/Remove location coordinates too

I've wanted to have edit EXIF for these other reasons:

Case 1:
Photos taken by iPhones and other smartphones often have GPS coordinates in EXIF, this is sometimes useful, but sometimes needs to be removed before publishing online.
Batch deletion of location coordinates would be useful.

Split a multipage TIFF, save a bunch of single-page images?

Is there a feature for splitting a multipage TIFF and outputting one image per page?
I suggest options for lossless single-page TIF or GIF or PNG or BMP output, and also lossy single-page JPEG output.
May need some basic file-numbering options too.

Also suggest the same for splitting a multipage PDF.
