Batch-print to plotfile?

I want to print a lot of raster-files (TIF, JPG, ..) to HPGL-Plotfiles which have the same file-name as the raster-files.

Example:

Code: Select all

1-2-3.tif -> print to file with HP755 Designjet -> 1-2-3.plt
test.jpg -> print to file with HP755 Designjet -> test.plt
Is it possible to do this?

Printjobs with file-name instead "Xnview Document"

I realized that a print job has not the name of the printed file ("photo.jpg", "map.tif", ..) but always the standard name "Xnview Document" . This is a problem when I - want to watch the print spooler - want to make PDF-files which use the document name for the PDF-name - want to check or edit the ...

Comments in XBS Files?

Hello is it possible to add comment lines to a xbs-file? Which are the format rules? ' This is comment? ; or with semicolon? # Maybe I have to use this character? Maybe the first lines of a xbs-comment could be displayed in the script-menu so that there is an information for the user. ; Test.xbs, ma...

Hello

there are many postings regarding the question "Install XnView to USB-stick". What is about XnView-Shellextenison? Is it possible in the same way?

Hello

I'm happy that the discussion makes a development to the suggestion I made.

One comment to Clos dialogue-suggestion:
I agree with John that the command (or the configuration) should be very "ad hoc" / "dynamic to reach".

I'm looking forward for further discussion.

Best regards.

Resize picture to a fixed cm-value

I have some screenshots (PNG), and I want to insert them in a table in Word, which is 12 cm wide.

So I have to "resize all PNG which are wider than 12 cm to a wide of 12 cm and keep the proportion width / height".

What I have to do?

That is a fine feature too, but not the think I am looking for. I hope I described it correct in my posting above.

Re: Zoom to a defined screen-section while browsing

Lock zoom? No - sorry. This function locks the scale factor (i.e. 450%) and zoom always to the centre of the next image. I need to - lock the zoom - on an absolute area (i.e. 15 x 5 cm or -15 x +5 cm) and - with beginning on a point which is semi absolute/relative: the right lower corner of the ima...
