Re: Preview in Batch Convert: Zoom is wrong at Prev/Next

xnview wrote: Tue Dec 14, 2021 12:28 pm The zoom is kept between files
Not if someone makes the mistake to go on the tab „Before” and comes back.

Then the zoom is fixed at „nn%”. No matter what zoom had te previous file in the „After” tab, it will be the „nn%” value for the next file.

Re: Preview in Batch Convert: Zoom is wrong at Prev/Next

It seems that by default it works.

The zoom percentage goes astray if we look at several images, and then click on the „Before” tab and after that click back on the „After” tab. Then the percentage is wrong and it stays like this.

Preview in Batch Convert: Zoom is wrong at Prev/Next

We have the Preview pane in Batch Convert dialog which has two tabs: Before and after:

Captură de ecran 2021-12-12 124343.jpg

No matter what Zoom we choose there, if we press the buttons Next or Previous, the zoom percentage resets at 26%.

It would be the best to keep the zoom percentage from ...

Re: Very nasty bug with Right-Click + Copy/Move

1. Ctrl+C over a file
2. Go to a structure like
RootFolder
---Subfolder 1
---Subfolder 2
---Subfolder 3
3. Select Subfolder 2 from RootFolder \ Subfolder 2, Right-Click and choose Paste

Right, but if you use Ctrl+V, the behavior is different, and the file is always copied in RootFolder ...

For each file at the place where is inserted in the „Actions” list. It is a problem for you to „take back” the resulted file in the memory?

Re: Very nasty bug with Right-Click + Copy/Move

ok, need to check...

Please do. Anyone and his mother today expects an Explorer-like behavior. We just do not have the power to fight this standard.

But in windows explorer, it's the same behavior (without pasteIntoSubfolder=true)

?!?

Just tested again.

1. Ctrl+C over a file
2. Go to ...

Re: Add the ability to launch into "Batch Convert" custom script

But in your example, you need to load different xbs scripts 3 times, right?

Not quite.

3 different .bat scripts, (perhaps) yes. But it can be done in just one xbs having 3 times the Resize and 3 times the Custom Script action, if someone starts with Resize from the biggest dimension ...

Yes - just be sure to have a „Move” (that is „Delete the source file after copy” already present in Batch Convert).

m.Th.

Thanks so much for your helpful replies and knowledge.

Like the OP, I am also hoping to have three of my staff collaborate on the same photo DB, (divided into three separate folders, so each staff member can work on their own folder of photos). They will be assigning category keywords to ...

Re: Import & Sort : Move & Batch Convert

2. A very, very useful tool is to add „Batch Convert” as a button to execute a batch convert job before transfer on Soruce and/or after transfer on Destination . – this would be a killer feature : just fill the Source Folder of Batch Convert dialog with Source of Import & Sort (or with ...

0.94.2: Alt+1 to Open Program doesn't work anymore

I have from many years now configured in Tools \ Open Widh a program (Photoshop) to open the selected image(s).

In 0.94.2 the Alt+1 shortcut doesn't work anymore. Using the RMB menu works.
