Re: Fit Window to Image
I do not say this option is not useful. But I still don't see how I'd use it.
For a "borderless image viewer with a minimal way to scroll through a directory" I use XnView MP. :D After opening an image I go to full screen view with F11. There I have no border at all, maximized window, I can move the ...

Re: Fit Window to Image
I'd like to understand what kind of images you have to deal with since I did not yet understand what you want to achive. With photos I have most of the time more image size than display size. So the image window could not be shown. And with smaller images I just use the browser view with large ...

Re: Xn-View MP 0.88 - does not open the last used directory at startup
I can't reproduce, for me it seems to work. Are you sure the "last directory" is mounted/ available during next start of the application?

Re: 0.87: Renaming folder breaks preview of content as slides
Interesting, I can't reproduce any more, too.
I'm sure I had been able to reproduce that several times using 0.88 64 bit under Linux Mint before posting at Tue Nov 28, 2017 2:39 pm. But now it seems to be gone. I will let you know if it come back some day.

Re: 0.87: Renaming folder breaks preview of content as slides
There is a similar, probably related bug:
1. Select a folder in directory tree window. Thumbnails are shown correct.
2. Now create a new folder using not XnViewMP but another tool like file manager.
3. This new folder is shown in thumbnail window in XnViewMP automatically (correct). But it is not ...

Shortcut and/or Toolbar Button for Custom rotation [solved]
If I did not miss anything the only way to access the fine rotation mode is by "menu > Image > Rotate > Rotate..."
I would find it useful if there would be a keyboard shortcut or even an (optional) toolbar button for this feature.

Re: Horizon Straightener Needed
+1 for any improvement in rotation :D
Personally I'd prefer the rotate dialog. The disadvantage with the rotated crop window is that when I want to creative rotate an image I need to also rotate my head to get a feeling for the result ;) With the rotation dialog one can preview the result without ...

Re: 0.87: Renaming folder breaks preview of content as slides
could you make a screen record?
Since I'm new to Linux I don't know how, hopefully xobix can do that.
I reproduced like this
1. select a folder containing images in the directory tree window. The thumbnails are shown.
2. rename this folder to "A2", either bei "click>rename" or F2. The new name is ...

I rename in folder view (meaning the data area with folders, bookmarks and categories on tabs).xnview wrote:Where do you rename the folder, in thumbnails or folder view?
