Clipboard as input

Hello all,
It would be nice if nconvert could use the clipboard as input. This way we could easily save screenshots in our preferred formats / sizes, etc.

TIA

After a long time - thank you! :)

However, when I execute

Code: Select all

nconvert.exe -l listfile.txt
all files are processed correctly but at the end I get an error message saying:
Error: Don't know how to read this picture (listfile.txt)
Any ideas?

TIA

Has this been implemented meanwhile by any chance...? I can't find any option to exchange the monitors. :(

Process filelist

Hi Pierre,
Could you please add an option for XnView to read filenames from a filelist? A filelist would look like this:

c:\long name\file.jpg
c:\long name\file2.jpg
d:\another dir\another file.bmp

A parameter like "-l <filelist.txt>" or "-list <filelist.txt>" could be used.

TIA

I actually consider losslessly rotated images as "original". :) So I vote for lossless rotation, and thumb...

I would personally prefer A), with B) as an option "recreate thumbnail from image" or so. It might not be quite logical, but I have this quirk of touching the original data as little as possible, thus not changing the thumbnail data (lossless rotation is ok) if possible.

Re: PNG - thumbnail != image

Your picture has an alpha channel, so if you want to load it in 24bits (as thumbnail), set options/Read/Png/Compose... Oh, thanks for pointing me to those options, they seem to work. However, I wonder, what do the options mean / what is the difference between them? Clo , Thanks for testing. :) TIA ...

PNG - thumbnail != image

Please see http://thehacker.totalcmd.net/factory_logo_2.png . The thumbnail is displayed ok, but every other view (preview, view, fullscreen) displays something like a second layer between the factory and the "candy factory" text.

However, AutoStitch will take 50 unsorted 2Mb images and produce a draft pano in less than a minute, and with no intervention on my part other than identifying the files. Perhaps you might try another group of images as a test. I did not measure the time, but since PTAssembler has the Auto create b...

I did as suggested in the readme, lowering from 0.25 GB down to 0.05GB, no help. I have 384 MB RAM.

Anyways, PanoTools with PTAssembler, AutoPano and Enblend seem to work fine for me. :) (Though I cannot compare, unfortunately.)
