Hi all,
Windows 7 x64, XnView 2.33.
I have XnView set to show the Automatic Rotation icon on thumbnails. For some reason it is not shown for e.g. this image. Automatic rotation when viewing, however, works just fine.
Can anyone reproduce?
Thanks.

Re: BPG Image format
xnview,
Could the console window perhaps be suppressed / hidden? It looks really bad, covering the current image while the BPG image is being loaded.
Thanks!

Re: BPG Image format
I wholeheartedly support the wish for XnView to implement BPG support (at least for decoding). I do not mean XnConvert specifically, though, I'd rather be using XnView to view them; I can create them on my own. The sources are available at the link posted above or one can use the libbpg library.

"Show information" permanently
Hi all,
I have XnView set to show some EXIF data when in Fullscreen, however, that information is not automatically shown when in Viewer. How can I make this information appear permanently, so I do not always have to press "I" or go to View - Show information when in Viewer, please?
Thank you
Roman

Re: Batch Processing running on multiple cores
I wholeheartedly support this request. It would be very nice if XnView could eg. resize four images (in case of a quad-core processor) at the same time instead of just one after another.

Re: Pressing Tab crashes XnView
marsh,
I don't think so. If Tab would be caught by another program it should not crash XnView anyways.

Re: Pressing Tab crashes XnView
Bug still present in 1.98.2.
Perhaps it's related to my multi-monitor setup?

Pressing Tab crashes XnView
XnView 1.98.1
Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
clean .ini
From Explorer click on an image file (any JPG will do). XnView will open the image. Press Tab a few times. XnView crashes.

Re: Sony RAW images slow and incorrect brightness
This seems to be fixed in v1.98 beta 1, even though I could not find the fix being mentioned in the changelog.
Thank you

Re: Enter does not switch view modes when more files opened
Hello Pierre,
Yes, Explorer is Windows Explorer. The file manager does not really matter, though, same with Total Commander.
EDIT: This seems to be working fine in 1.98 beta 1.
Thank you

CR2 (Canon RAW) display issue
Hi all,
Please download the DPReview test CR2 file from http://movies.dpreview.com.s3.amazonaws.com/canon_s95/IMG_2273.CR2.zip . When opened in XnView the it looks all wrong, as if someone had maxed out the contrast - please see this PNG I saved directly from XnView - http://thehacker.totalcmd.net ...
