Capture setup, no format adjustment

Hi. In the capture setup dialog box, If I chose to save as file, there seems to be no way to adjust file output settings. If I select format=jpg, I cannot do any quality settings from within that dialog box. There should be an Option button there, just like the one in the Save dialog box. Thanks :D

Distrtibute as 7z

Hi.

Not an issue, just a thaught of me:

The dowloaded zip file of version 1.97.8 is 6315 kb. When I making this to a 7z archive, the new size is 3565 kb.
That new 7z file size ocupies just 56 percent of the zip file :D

Why zip and not 7z?

Thanks

Re: JP2 output file size fault

I have confirmed this bug with the jasper one. However, the issue isn't that the size goes up after 1-10, it's that the numbers are backwards. If you want MORE compression, then you need to set the number LOWER. This is completely opposite of the way it's supposed to be, and I could swear that I re...

JP2 output file size fault

OS: WInxp sp3 XnView version 1.96.1 Open a 24bpp BMP file and save as JP2. Go to Options and select "Compression rate: 1 to". Any number higher than 10 will cause the output filesize to increase in size (compared to output file size when number is 10). So - any number above 10 will cause wrong outpu...

Use of paint plugin.

Hi. I've installed (extracted two files to the plugin folder) the paint plugin, but how do I use/activate it?
Everything is as before.

Straighten/rotate

Once in a while, I scan images. Some images contains two (or more) points that should have same Y-cordinate, but doesn't. Or having a horisontal line that after scanning has a slight slope. That is, I need being able to pick two points on the picture - and after that the picture will rotate so that ...
