Not normal jpg to heic results in sizes

Hi everyone

I got some weird converted size results. Converted from large jpg to heic files seemed ok (16M became 10M file), but converted from small jpgs to heic files was different (1M became 7M file). Is there any problem?
I am using Window 10 x64 and the latest XnConvert v1.95 x64

yes, 3.9M is you use lossless. You can change quality of HEIC

If you want lossless, keep 100 but with big file size

I found that some other source jpg files after converted to heic files can not be opened to see.
I attached 4 files for you to inspect the possible cause.

1 original jpg file (too large to attach 22M)
1 heic file after conversion (can't attach heic file 3,282k) not displayed normally
1 conversion setting of service of aconvert.com (attached ok)
1 same jpg file converted by aconvert.com to heic file (can't attach heic file 3,282k) displayed normally

if you convert in heic diana.jpg, you have the problem??

The problem is after conversion the heic file picture cannot be shown/seen. But using aconvert.com online conversion the heic file picture showed up ok.

The one on the left is heic shown ok, the one on the right is original. It is just weird some converted heic shown ok some didn't.

How about the problem that I can't post heic attachment here ?
