Memory Leak

I am using XnView 1.82.4 with windows xp professional and 504meg of memory. When I browse to a large folder of images (in one case 1100 images), xnview uses all the memory on the computer. The line on the Page File Usage History chart in Windows Task Manager moves from the bottom to the top in 60 seconds and the computer locks up. I have been using xnview for about 9 months and I dont remember this happening before. Does anyone have suggestions to fix the problem?

I believe this is a known issue.
Pierre, the developer of XnView, is aware of it and has announced that this will be fixed in the next release.
