Don't know if this has been metioned before. .tif-Images created with Paint.NET (OpenSource at http://www.getpaint.net/) can not be opened with XnView. Even the shell extension fails to load it.

I'm not sure it's related, but I have the same problem with a tif (origin unknown). Here it is :

(opens fine in windows viewer, not in XnView).

XnView *really* has problems with the TIF images provided above. What I experienced:
- Surfi's image does not open in XnView (XnView will allocate several 100 MBs of memory and hard disk will swap).
- And nerbrume's TIF appears in preview but does not open.
