Replace Multiple Files Request

Post by Mike Truly »

When I go to use the 'Copy to Folder' function to copy some selected images to another folder and that folder already contains images of the same names, I am presented with a nice dialog that shows thumbnail pictures that compares the original file with the new file. I like this... thanks!

But since I already know that I am replacing the original images with the new images (because I just image-processed or re-rendered them), I want to replace them without seeing the dialog again. I want a checkbox that says 'Apply to all duplicates' or whatever.

Is there currently a way to do this or is this a future request?

Thanks!
Sincerely,

Mike Truly

Thank you for that link.

So it looks like others would like to have a checkbox in the dialog giving the option to either prompt for each file or to overwrite all files. I vote for this too.

Thanks!
