RC2: Use different pos./size for browser & view

"Use different position/size for browser & view" doesn't work in RC2.
Also with default settings.

To reproduce:

- close xnview
- rename xnview.ini file
- start xnview.exe
- F12 - enable "Use different position/size for browser & view"
- click once to any image
- go to viewer with the 1st toolbar button "Open" and back with "Enter"
- restart xnview (start xnview.exe)
- click once to any image
- go to viewer with the 1st toolbar button "Open"

= position and size is not changed - same as browser

May 28: I still cannot recreate problem. I removed all traces of Xnview, selected the option, restarted, and both viewer and browser dimensions were remembered (seperately). Win2k.

Viewer is even centred on screen at startup, then Browser has correct size & pos. but if I press Enter to go to Viewer, size & pos. is the same as Browser.

I understand "Use different position/size for browser & view" to be "Remember browser
and viewer dimensions seperately". These terms do not have identical meanings. The
first phrase implies that different positions are forced, while the second does not.
"Remember browser and viewer dimensions seperately" works for me.

I can't reproduce the problem. If i start browser, open one picture.
Resize or move it, then go bakc with return. Browser gets original size. I open new picture, and size of view is changed to view size.

(RC4) Remember last window position/size

If you start the program directly this doesn't work. It will always revert to the same standard setting. It only works, if you open up a picture directly for example.

This has been posted by a guest in the RC3 thread already but has not gotten any attention yet. That's why i made this thread.

Yes, the problem now is that both views default to the last view closed when program exits. Dimensions are only remembered seperately on a per session (temporary) basis.

In RC3 has been saved always the browser window only, now in RC4 is saved always the viewer window only, for me.

Doesn't work as expected. Once activated the viewer always uses the browser's setting, if you open the viewer by doubleclicking on a file in Windows Explorer.
