I took pictures from the sun. They are made with nikon, so .nef format. I imported them on my pc. They look nice and red as is correct Redfilter used.
When I display them in xnviewMP, they are wrong. Sun is white/yellowish and the background is not black See attachment. I have never seen this strange behaviour before. Opening the raw (.nef) file in Affinity and develop it, turns it into correct colours. see attchment.
How is this possible, only in xnviewmp is the display of the .nef wrong. And only in this session. Reimporting showed no difference, reinstalling xnviewMP also no difference. Anyone can explain this to me?
Thanks.

Re: Incorrect colors with .nef file display
1. goto 'Camera RAW' tab in Settings>Formats>Read
2. change View from 'Embedded preview' to Half or Full size
3. play with Full/Half size rendering adjustments
if does not help - share your file
