thanks again for all the replies--so do you guys think the file i sent out is corrupted? because it's straight out from my fax machine... altho yeah, i seem to get much better file sizes w/ ccitt 4 than 3. are u guys able to convert 3 to 4 w/ xnview?

thanks everyone for looking into this. i can rehost it on something else if the other link doesn't work. anyways, i'm not sure if its an os related issue-on certain programs (ie. MS office document imager), i can open it fine, but on xnview, it doesn't want to open. it is a little frustrating ...

i use xnview to receive faxes and for the most part, xn is able to open files. but occasionally, some .tiffs give me a "Error reading the file" error." thumbnails of the image come up ok, but thumbnails within a folder icon doesn't show it. the images also come up fine w/ ms document viewer.

yeah, i thought maybe there'd be a way w/ Hotkeyp and multi command or command list, but problem is the page selected to delete is different each time, so that didn't work either.

hopefully we'll see it in a feature down the road..

when in browser in the folder tab, you're able to click and drag pics between folders, but when in favorites, you cannot do that (when adding favorites based on folders). you can do ctrl+x and then ctrl+v between favorite folders to achieve same effect, but i bring it up because the behavior is not ...

is there a way to autosave when you exit from fullview edit?

it looks like you can save any page of a multipage (.tiff) while in fullview edit mode, but that one page will overwrite the entire original multipage file. if you make annotations or add txt, and then simply goto the next frame, it will prompt to save, but again, will only save that one ...

Is there a way to turn this off (like there exists turning off "confirm on delete")?

In a multipage Tiff, when you make a change while in edit fullscreen to a page (ie. add watermark or txt, etc), and then goto the next page, the changes you made to the previous page are not saved .

While in edit fullscreen, as you use shift+page down/up to view individual pages in a multipage file (tiff or pdf), it would be nice to have one shortcut key to delete the page you're looking at.
