Clicking on the next image tab along, you can see the image content is now corrupt. All tabs like this.

Just happened again.

I believe it's triggered when I manipulate a photo's levels (L).

This morning I've been scanning and editing photos. Xnview 1.98.5 crashed on me in both sessions after about 20 minutes of work. Both times I had maybe half a dozen small scanned pictures open.

I am really stumped by this: I no longer have an IMAGE item in my top menu. Here's what I have:
