Printjobs with file-name instead ... (2. version)

My first suggestion "Printjobs with file-name instead "Xnview Document" http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?p=61256 is now added in Version 1.93.6 from May 1, 2008. But there is still a problem: If I print some images together (i.e. 8 images with one command, NOT on one paper ...), the print j...

Batch-print to plotfile?

I want to print a lot of raster-files (TIF, JPG, ..) to HPGL-Plotfiles which have the same file-name as the raster-files.

Example:

Code: Select all

1-2-3.tif -> print to file with HP755 Designjet -> 1-2-3.plt
test.jpg -> print to file with HP755 Designjet -> test.plt
Is it possible to do this?

Printjobs with file-name instead "Xnview Document"

I realized that a print job has not the name of the printed file ("photo.jpg", "map.tif", ..) but always the standard name "Xnview Document" . Hello

I'm happy that the discussion makes a development to the suggestion I made.

One comment to Clos dialogue-suggestion:
I agree with John that the command (or the configuration) should be very "ad hoc" / "dynamic to reach".

I'm looking forward for further discussion.

Best regards.
