Re: 0.60: File List Toolbar - How to modify ?

Halo, m.Th.

I am not talking about the Tool Bar that appears in both View mode and Browse mode.

I am questioning about "Filelist toolbar" which appears in Browse mode only.
(In Browse mode, "Menu > View > Filelist toolbar" to show/hide it.)

How to modify it ?

Thanks

Re: 0.60: Can we have "Fit image to window Width, Large Only

Halo, m.Th.

I like your idea about organizing the possible options:

-----
Zoom
Fit to...
(*) Window
Window Height
Window Width
Condition
(*) All Images
Small images only <----
Large Images only
-----

It is good for general/basic setting. However, if we talk about button (command) then the ...

...I want to use that button for zoom-100%... Hello,
... For 100% zoom try the keyboard button "*" - shortcut.

Thanks.
I know that default one.
On my laptop, I have to use "Shift 8" or "Fn P" to get * since there is no single button for *.
I try to avoid using two buttons (combination).

I want ...

Halo.

In Browse mode, I hide the Toolbar and keep the File List Toolbar.
I can not find an option to modify the File List Toolbar.
Where is that option ?

Thank you.

0.60: Can we have "Fit image to window Width, Large Only" ?

XnViewMP 0.60
Windows7 32
Xubuntu1304

Halo.

The currently available:
"Fit image to window, large only" makes a very long but narrow image hard to see/read.
"Fit image to windows width" is not good for small images display.

So, do you think I need "Fit image to window width, large only" ?

If yes ...

0.60: Request: Large images, "Zoom100%" always go to XY=0

XnViewMP 0.60
Windows7 32
Xubuntu1304

Halo.

If I open a long image using "Fit image to window, large only" , then I zoom it to "100%" ; XnViewMP always zoom to the centre of the image.

Can we have an option so that (for the above scenario), XnViewMP will focus on the XY=0 ?

In this case, the ...

Halo.

In Browse mode:

The keyboard button "/" is used as its shortcut.

Re: 0.56: Crop selection - resizing

Halo.
I mention the following image viewer to make you see what I mean, just in case if it is not clear.
Please try "FastStone Image Viewer" ver. 4.8 (for Windows) and use its crop feature.
http://www.faststone.org/

I see that FastStone does not have a crop-rotation feature.
In XnViewMP, I never ...

Re: UI options with inconsistent labels

On second thought I don't mind "show" :) even though I voted for 'display' - so if "show" was used it would be fine with me.

Halo, budz45.

I once missed the scrollbar since I thought it was "show". Then, I found out why.
When I started questioning about those words, it was not myself on my mind ...

Re: UI options with inconsistent labels

Oh, someone has modified my message title. Thank you.

I am sorry if the developer should spend time for changing those items. I just expect XvView option become more intuitive. Small/little consistency here and there, will make XnView simpler for users.

It is nice if users can conclude:

0.56: Crop selection - resizing

XVMP 056 on Xubuntu 1304

When cropping a large image, I find it rather difficult to adjust the cropped area since the border line can be adjusted by using the small boxes only (4 at each corner, 4 at each side). This happens when I zoom in the image to see the detail of cropped part.

To me, it ...

UI options with inconsistent labels

It is a small thing. I am curious.

show play bar
show info
show hidden files & folders
hide scrollbars
hide toolbar
display pan tool
display ratings
display all graphic formats

Why are different words (show, hide, display) used for similar purpose ?
They are set by check/uncheck. Why not using ...
