Re: Why does XnViewMP take up so much RAM?

borzov, you can have images displayed in different tabs by doing this:

In Browse mode > Menu > View > Tab > Show (checked)

Thanks.

How to make the Folder-Pane keep the position of folders??

Halo.

XnViewMP 0.72 on Windows 7 32bit.

The layout I use for the browse mode is: Folder Pane, Thumbnail Pane, and Preview.

Please, see the image attached.
I must correct the words in the image. It is not the position of the Folder-Pane itself, but the position of the folders it displays.

How to ...

Re: how can I convince XnView to sort order same as system ?

Oops, sorry.
I did not realize that "Name(not numeric)" field is not available when we right click the header.

Pierre, is it possible to add "Name(not numeric)" field so that we can quickly use that sort without having to go to the menu or use sort-by icon on the toolbar?

Thanks.

Re: how can I convince XnView to sort order same as system ?

halo, cristi.

In Browse mode, I use the thumbnails layout. I also make the header appear, via the menu:
View > Sort by > Show header (at the bottom of the drop-down menu)

Then I can select which fields appear on the header by right-clicking the header.

To make the order ascending or descending, I ...

Re: Basic Questions

halo, David.

I do not know if xnviewmp manual is available.
I 'learn' xnviewmp by observing its menus and options and set them as I wish, and by posting questions in this forum whenever I have problems.

It is not clear to me what issue you have concerning with making the slide-show. Perhaps, it is ...

Re: browser trouble selecting using arrow keys

Hi.
If you posted the fifth image, you could show us that a strange behaviour exists.
If you also select the second column, the last column will be selected too.

Until it is fixed (assuming that it is a bug), you can move forward the RightKey to also select the second column, then move backward ...

Re: how to make file-sort in Browse and View modes similar?

Hi, Pierre.

Is there anything I can manually do to have the files in ViewMode sorted by Created Date?
Or, Do I have to wait for the next version?
Thanks

View-Mode Select-All toolbar icon

Pierre,
xnviewmp 069
In View mode, for "Select-All" icon on the toolbar, can we have the icon similar to the previous version (068).
Currently, it looks like "copy-all" icon to me.
Thanks.
