Re: Basic Questions

halo, David. I do not know if xnviewmp manual is available. I 'learn' xnviewmp by observing its menus and options and set them as I wish, and by posting questions in this forum whenever I have problems. It is not clear to me what issue you have concerning with making the slide-show. Perhaps, it is a...

Re: browser trouble selecting using arrow keys

Hi. If you posted the fifth image, you could show us that a strange behaviour exists. If you also select the second column, the last column will be selected too. Until it is fixed (assuming that it is a bug), you can move forward the RightKey to also select the second column, then move backward (shi...

Re: how to make file-sort in Browse and View modes similar?

Hi, Pierre.

Is there anything I can manually do to have the files in ViewMode sorted by Created Date?
Or, Do I have to wait for the next version?
Thanks

View-Mode Select-All toolbar icon

Pierre,
xnviewmp 069
In View mode, for "Select-All" icon on the toolbar, can we have the icon similar to the previous version (068).
Currently, it looks like "copy-all" icon to me.
Thanks.

Re: Toolbar icon customization bug

yes not yet implemented... Hi, Pierre. 1. When will it be implemented ? 2. If I am not mistaken, there is a guy who help you creating the icons, right? Concerning with many commands have no icon, is it because the guy is not active anymore? 3. It is perhaps a small thing. Is there any difference be...

double-click folder to expand; not to rename

Halo. If I double-click a folder which has sub-folder, I want xnviewmp to expand the folder instead of calling rename command. I know I can expand folder by clicking the 'arrow' icon. To me, it is much easier to double-click the folder-name because the arrow icon is so small. Does the option for the...

Halo, Forum Members. XnViewMP 069, Windows7 32bit. In browse mode, the layout is folders, thumbnails, and Preview. For the thumbnail pane, the headers Name, Modified Date, Created Date are shown. Automatically combined; Is the feature available ?

Halo, Forum Members. Which feature in XnViewMP that I can use to get this? Please, see the image. This is a single image. Imagine that there are 3 areas; part 1, 2, and 3. I select part 2 of the image and remove it (by using the menu/feature). After part 2 has been removed, then, parts 1 and 3 are a...

Pierre,
Do you prepare the icons too ?
I mean, does anyone help you with the artistic aspects of XnView (including the creation and maintenance of icons) ?
Sorry, I am curious.
Thanks

Thanks, m.Th and XnTriq. I see that some applications on ubuntu (and its flavours) do not support the overlay scrollbar. That's why I want to know if it is possible for XnViewMP to support it. [request] Crop; Option for unselected-part brightness.

Halo. XnView 068 on Windows7 and Xubuntu 14.04 (both 32bit) It would be hepful to me if there is an option for setting the brightness of unselected area while cropping an image. Some users might argue that if it is unselected that we do not want to see it. However, we can decide that it is not selec...
