Re: 0.84: File index counts folders
Ah, it's the zoom level of the preview (browser). Makes sense now.

Re: 0.84: Tagging files by checking them causes strange beha
I actually meant frustrating as in troubleshooting.
Spent several more minutes on it and am still at a loss as to why it sometimes switches to selection mode vs moving the selected file. If anyone figures it out, I'd love to know.

Re: 0.84: File index counts folders
Done. What is the % in the status bar an indication of? Doesn't make any sense to me.

Status bar tweaks
As requested, I'm copying this from a bug thread over here for proper separation/tracking:
Implement changes to make use of the ample status bar space and have it show # of supported files / # of files / # of folders / total # of objects, and which of these show and in which order could be ...

Can't get into much trouble by copying something. Worst case scenario you have to delete the copy you accidentally made. Pretty much the same for cutting, except you have to put it back where it came from. Seems unlikely either of these would be used accidentally in a way that would cause problems ...

This is an especially frustrating one... :?

Re: Deleting files in fullscreen mode deleted all folders!
Since I keep full backups, I decided to be a guinea pig :P , but alas, no joy. I was not able to duplicate the original issue (accessing fullscreen via the browser and viewer, using the toolbar shortcut and F11) or helmut's possible scenario. Every time I pressed delete, I was given a prompt asking ...

Re: 0.84: Folder filter should reset when we change the fold
Reproduced. Even if you go back to folder 1 it's still blank, as are all other folders. Closing and reopening the browser doesn't fix it, and in fact after doing so it's set back to 'Custom,' which I would expect it to still be set to 'Tagged,' and if it were truly set back to 'Custom' the folder ...

Re: 0.84: Viewer: Selection lost when moving selection
Reproduced. After moving the selection the cursor is reverted to normal, and only reverts back to the 4-way moving arrow when it's moved every so slightly, as if it doesn't recognize that it's inside the selection area until it's moved. IOW, its determination of where it is seems to be based on ...

Re: 0.84: Category filter: Deselecting doesn't deselect chil
Chuck, Melissa, and Nancy are files under John and Peter is a folder under John, containing more folders and files. Maybe not the best example, but if we imagine the files are pictures (say, of their kids), then to view just John's kids' pictures we could either select them individually or we could ...

The reason I needed undo wasn't anything too drastic, like deleting a directory. I simply clicked on a folder and did the Alt+M shortcut, without realizing that when I clicked on the folder it actually activated the rename functionality (all too easy to do accidentally), so when I did Alt+M it ...

Re: 0.84: File index counts folders
Reproduced. It is counting the parent directory link (".."), which is throwing off the count by at least one. It is also counting any actual folders in the current folder. While I definitely feel folders and ALL files should be counted in the status bar (bottom) in browser, fullscreen should only ...

Re: 0.84: No Drag&Drop to parent folder
Ok, found the option, which was already checked. Almost posted that I couldn't reproduce it, because I was dragging the files to the parent folder in the left pane, not the '..' "folder" at the beginning of the directory listing. I would have never thought to try this or thought it was a bug, and if ...

Re: 0.84: .XnViewSort never shown
The question is this:
If you start with folder A with image set (A) and .XnViewSort(A) and copy images (A) and .XnViewSort(A) into folder B with image set (B) and .XnViewSort(B), as illustrated:
image set (A) + .XnViewSort (A) -> folder B
which of the following do you get in folder B:
