hmm. just installed the dmg and it crashes when i try to open after the install.
this is on a:
mac pro 1,1
osx 10.6.8 32bit
does 0.60 require something newer?

how to run mp on ubuntu
so i installed the .deb package in ubuntu 12. progress barrs indicated things were installing and i
got a message that it finished. ok. so how do i run the program? it's not in any of my launch menus
and no desktop link appeared. can't seem to find it anywhere.

last version i could get to run was v39. since then i just get a crash and system error
before i even get to the program. error just says the application quit unexpectedly
and do i want to ignore, report it to apple, or relaunch. relaunching just repeats the
same process.

.fits format?
i may be using an astrophotography app that saves ccd images in .fits format.
is that something xnview/nconvert can deal with? i see fit as a supported
format but not fits.
