ok, currently heif.dll is only used for loading. The HEIC store component is used to save.

yes but if you use {Filename}\###, you have \#, and \ is used to escape the # character, so {Filename}###

i have no problem to save HEIC format, do you have the heic.dll (2020) in plugin folder?

:bugconfirmed: Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.
The problem is that you have \# in the filename, so it's to escape #. I'll fix it, and you'll need to write \\#

i don't know, in fullscreen from browser same issue?
