The system that I am intending on using XnView on is a Home Theatre PC (HTPC). Consequently it is only attached to a TV and hence font sizes have to be pretty big to make them easily legible (and yes, I am aware of DPI and "Extra Large" fonts under XP). I have the following question. First of all what is PGB? Is it a greyscale image? As far as I understand pixels there are coded with intensivity of black (or white?) 0-255. How can I retrieve those numbers from the image file, i.e. how can I obtain a txt file with mere numbers (codes of the pixels)...

Dear Pierre, It works much better now. I tried several combination with 2 jpeg in 1xxKB, the result of create multipage is around 1.3MB. Do you have any idea to compress the TIFF in the ideal size? Or, just give me some hints about the compression parameter such as LZW ... If original file are jpeg...
