I wrote the same file as PNG and TIFF on the same folder. It works properly now (make sure "use extension" box is ticked of course).
Thank you very much!

Re: Printing multiple copies
I haven't tested this since I posted that. Disregard my previous post for now. XnView probably works properly on this regard. I mostly print multipage TIFF files and prefer Irfanview to do so (until XnView allows me to print just some pages ranges and such).

Re: Scanning multipages to pdf is not creating one single pd
XnView cannot scan directly to multipage PDF. Use TIFF instead. Afterwards, create a multipage PDF using that TIFF as source. Make sure to tick the box to include all images from multipage source file.

Re: "Sequence Convert" this image. I dare you.
I used SAVE AS, then reloaded the newly created image and then I used SAVED AS again. It worked properly. 1.97.8 running under Win7 32bits.

Ignore extension for Find similar files...
Hello. I am using XnView 1.97.8 under Windows XP SP3.
I have found out that if I have the same image (same filename) in two different formats in the same folder (01.jpg and 01.png) for instance «Find Similar Files... -> same filename » will not be able to find out it's the same image. An option to ...

Yep. Here you go.
When using same compression (ZIP/Deflate) size should be similar.

Keep colour depth transforming PDF > TIFF
Hello.
When transforming PDF to TIFF (Create multipage file) the resulting TIFF file is always 24bpp (True Colour) even if source PDF was indexed palette.

Re: Yet another new image format...
The webpage doesn't seem to be 100% done either. I cliked on forums and I got a 404 error.
Too bad it's not an open source format.

Interesting. They say they have a plugin for XnView but I have been unable to find it.

Re: Sort in BatchRename (1.97.7.0)
This seems to be also true when adding the first pages inside Create Multipage file. They appear unsorted.

Just scan into a multipage TIFF. It's easier.

Printing multiple copies
As far as I know XnView relies on printer driver to select number of copies. Unfortunately this approach doesn't work with all printer drivers. Could XnView add support for internal control of copies sent to printer?
