I think there are too many filetypes on "Save As" dialog. Is it possible to hide some of them?
It's great that XnView can open so much formats, but I don't really need to save into them.

yes, right, you can hide some formats in option/Read-write>General

That option only puts chosen formats on top on the Formats list, but the list still includes everything. I'd like to hide some on them.

Hello !
• Ages ago…
- I met the same annoyance and proposed a box with simple buttons to solve the issue…
- Except a pretty row, nothing resulted of that effort…
- Sorry, too tired now to find the topic, maybe our wonderful Librarian will do ? If so, TIA !

Maybe after the user selected "most often" formats, include a radio button: "show chosen formats on top of the list"/"show only chosen formats".xnview wrote:houps, right... Hello !
- A box of buttons well stuck on the background is always better than an unstable drop-down list showing tiny characters in its ranks.
- What do you think ?

Hello !
• Actually, my idea was to not use the list at all ! Indeed this needs a special command for “Save As (Common)…” with the most used formats - and I planned too 1…3 customizable “wildcard” buttons for users who would have to save often in a rare format…Maybe after the user selected "most often" formats, include a radio button: "show chosen formats on top of the list"/"show only chosen formats".
