Thank you for the hints. If possible, I would like to see the RGB infos instead the coordinates. Or maybe it possible to show both?

Wish: color value info per mouse arrow

Hello,

at the moment, if the mouse is moved over an open image the pixel coordinates are show at the upper border (x:.. y:..). It could be nice, if this field could be switched to show the color values like RGB or CMYK instead the coordinates.

Regards,
Micha

Optimizing dosn't help, it stay slow. Only rename the old DB helps, but it could be nice to keep it.

The little preview images show a part of the image only and the large preview is turned. If I drag&drop the image to photoshop ...

CMYK support wanted

Hi,

last I got a JPG and wonder me that the colors are looking so strange. Later I open it a Photoshop and the image looks like expected. The reason for the difference - it's a CMYK image. Could it be possible that XnView show CMYK like Photoshop?

Attached a part of the image.

Best regards,

Function "remove alpha channel" wanted

Hi,

it's interesting for me - Photoshop has no function to toggle between show and hide the alpha channel (of PNG). I know only one tool for this function - XnView. Some times I want to convert PNG with alpha channel to images without alpha channel that ignore the the alpha channel. Could the ...

The HDR could be corrected for viewing of the thumbnail images and if the image is open. But I'm not sure, what is the best place for this option.

I think, RAW is a 32bit format like exr and hdr, so, we could do it like for RAW - exposure and gamma at the read options.

If XnView could read the gamma value from the header, this would be the best. But if this isn't so easy, a global option would help too. Most of my HDRIs are gamma 1 based.

An advantage of the global option could be, that I can see, if a HDRI isn't gamma 1 based and looks wrong.

Ah, thanks Claude, I found it. :)

It's not easy to set, but I found a solution. If I set 077 077 077 than I don't get a grey, I get the last seted color and my ini value control the brightness. It's ok so.

I tested to use the hex code from Photoshop like this #de1818, but it dosn't work.
