Thank you, for your problem report, corr. I could reproduce the "problem" easily, but I guess this is rather a feature than a bug:

Default resolution for PS/PDF files too low
In combination with Ghostscript XnView is able to display Postscript and PDF files, see FAQ "How to display vector formats like PDF, AI,...? GhostScript!"
Currently (XnView MP 1.00), default resolution for Postscript and PDF files is 72 dpi. This is o.k. and fast but not very detailed.

Re: Suggestion: Size ratio per file and total
Thank you for registering here and your suggestions for XnConvert, kaminajihat. My reply is very late but perhaps it's of use and you read it. And most of all Pierre, the author of XnView reads it. ;)

Default layout not identifiable
XnView MP offers a lot of configuration and settings. From what I can see, unexperienced users can ruin their configuration pretty easily and quickly. If possible, this should be avoided and if it does happen, users should have hints to get their configuration back on track. Below is a suggestion to ...

Re: Ability to drag files to favorites
Thank you for your suggestion, MARK2580 . "Favorites" panel is for your favorite folders, only, not for individual images. If you want to set favorites for your images, you have to use categories. There are star ratings (1-5) and pre-defined categories. Either you can use one of these or you can ...

Re: Draw module: Cannot use Eyedropper because of cursor
m.Th.: Thanks for the screenshot - a real camera shot of the screen.
Sounds much very like the QT problem that XnTriq found.

Right, good to that you (m.Th.) are around, again. Haven't seen budz45, Drahken, ckv, oops66, and some more for a while...

Re: Move tabs to new panel?
The option "Show title of panels" is grayed out. I've just fiddled around a bit and found that when using pre-defined layouts (Layout 1..5, ...) "Show title of panels" is greyed out. Please try "View > Layout > Free"; then "Show title of panels" should be available.

Re: Move tabs to new panel?
I just switched computers. Using Win10Pro on both. On the previous one I was able to have Folders & Favorites as separate Panels. On the new PC install they are tabs which I can't seem to get to be Panels. What am I missing?
Please click on tab "Favorites" to bring the "Favorites" panel to front ...

Re: Draw module: Cannot use Eyedropper because of cursor
I've just tried to reproduce the problem but Eyedropper works fine for me: X and Y position and colour value (decimal and hexadezimal) are displayed. What do you mean with "garbage"?
Note: Only irritating thing for me that I found is that 0,0 coordinate is top left of the picture and most top left ...

Re: 1.0: Deleting the last file in the folder does not work
I can confirm this bug. :bug: For reproducing you have to open an image and then delete it using "Del" key. Image is deleted but tab remains opened although the image was deleted. When closing the image the thumbnail is still displayed which is also wrong. When pressing F5 for updating the thumbnail ...

Re: When Raw file moved *.XMP file is not.
Thank you for your pointing to the right setting, Franky. I wonder whether the two settings "Companian files linked for delete action" and "Companian files linked for copy/rename/move action" shouldn't be checked and thus active by default.

Thank you, michel038 and cday for solving Philrou's problem. Currently, XnView's configurability can be simultaneously a curse and a blessing - let's try and find ways to ensure that configurability is a blessing, only.

Re: There Must Be A Keystroke - Expand and Shrink the Browser Tree
There is the menu "View > Panels > Show source panels" for displaying and hiding the panel including "Folder tree". By default, no short cut is assigned but you can add a short cut easily:
1. Tools > Settings | Interface | Shortcuts
2. In drop down list select "Browser mode" (should be selected by ...
