I see: you use copy/paste while I use drag'n drop.
Would selecting the new folder (with mouse) be a real drawback? (if so, it would be worth considering your suggestion as an option)

I agree with Nelson, as explained in the other thread (+nobody replied for more than 1 year), and see this as a bug.

In browser mode: click on an folder (here called a), then right click on an other directory of your choice (here called b), select new folder (to create a new subfolder of b), type in a name for it (e.g. "c") and press Enter =>you are not in c, but in a. Ok, so for me it's the normal behaviour, but ...
