Re: Sad news
Clo had been an XnView user and contributor from day 1. He was very active here in the Xnview forum and wrote the first version of the Online help for XnView. Also, Clo supported other products like TotalCommander. I'll miss him and his special, sometimes unconventional style in communicating and designing things. Clo, rest in peace!

Re: Sad news
Indeed sad news. Claude has already been missed by many of us.
In our private correspondence, Clo showed a broad sense of humor and kept a wary eye on the "advances" of modern civilization. He frequently expressed an "international" outlook complicit with the travails of common men everywhere, possessed a gentle heart, and was obviously very proud of his son.
Our connections across this virtual world are so tenuous...

This is very sad news - he has been a very active and helpful TC user, and he is the main contributor to the French help and tutorials.

Re: Sad news
Maybe it was a language thing but I found him quarrelsome.
When a former workmate responded to a poster's reference to language with a reference to language, Clo accused him of 'bordering on an insult' and had him banned. Ridiculous behaviour. Belligerent.
Rest in peace, Claude, free from perceived travail.

Re: Sad news
There are few people on here I can say I like as a friend but Claude aka Clo was definitely one of them.
I'm guilty of not watching these forums more closely in recent years, caught up in competitions and social networking.
Anyway, I'm having a drink for Clo tonight.
